There are several well-executed applique vessels from the Bishop Place site in the Hampson collection. This one is tempered with coarsely ground shell (Mississippian Plain paste). Applique elements on this small, 5 1/2 inch vessel consist of four hands and six long bones. The annular base has several slits cut through it.
