  • Form: Bottle

This Old Town Red painted bottle is from the Hendricks Homestead site. It measures 9 1/2 inches tall. The three feet on the bottom have scalloped sides and widen near the juncture with the body. This is an uncommon feature among late prehistoric bottles in northeast Arkansas. The neck is encircled by two red painted lines on the buff paste. The interior of the neck is slightly beveled, a feature that made it more useful for pouring.
