  • Form: Bottle

This vessel is from Fortune Mound site on the St. Francis River in Cross County, Arkansas. The paste could be called fine Mississippi Plain or coarse Bell Plain; we prefer the latter. It is likely a very late vessel form (Mainfort 1996; Williams 1980), the stirrup-necked bottle is 6 1/2 inches tall and has a polished surface.
